Position: Electrical/Mechanical Technician
Applicant must be able to perform inspections, make necessary repairs and install overhead hoists and crane equipment. A thorough working knowledge of 3-phase powered equipment and motor control troubleshooting is necessary. A strong mechanical aptitude for repairing hoist and crane brakes and gearing is also needed. In addition to electrical work, assisting co-workers with installing crane systems, runway beams and aligning ASCE crane rail is also required.
The applicant needs to have ample experience (5-10 years) and be able to hit the ground running. Most of the work needed is done at the customer's location. Some work requires being out of town overnight, which averages 3 to 4 nights a month. Salary is very competitive and is commensurate with experience. Candidates must have good driving record and no criminal history for accessing secure facilities.
