TC/American Free Standing Crane System Case Study

The Problem: The customer wanted a Free Standing Bridge Crane system so their fork trucks would not have to handle the material they were treating.  Headroom and durability were critical issues.

Application: In the area this crane covers, materials are moved from one location to another as part of their treatment process.

Williamson & Wilmer’s Solution: Free Standing Patented Track bridge crane system with cross mounted, close headroom wire rope hoist.

Solution Details: This Free Standing Patented Track bridge crane, provided by TC/American Monorail is designed for maximum hook approach at the ends of the runway as well as bridge beam.   The articulating trolleys ensure consistent wear and operation over the life of the track.   Due to their design, utilizing the patented track beams allowed us to save on the system’s headroom and give the customer an increased hook height.
